The PULSE Pace Setters group mentoring program was developed to assist Greenville’s Economic Development Strategy by creating an environment where young professionals are afforded the opportunity to connect with Greenville County’s most successful leaders. Meetings will be designed around a variety of topics to help get you, a PULSE Pace Setter, connected with the Greater Greenville Community.

Who can participate in Pace Setters?
Any young professional who is a member of PULSE. To become a member of PULSE, visit http://www.greenvillepulse.com

How many people are in each Pace Setters group?
Each Pace Setters group consists of 2 mentors and 6-8 young professionals.

How often does each group meet and how long does each meeting last?
Groups meet monthly for 1-2 hours. The exact length of each meeting is determined by individual group preferences.

What time of day do the groups meet?

At the Kick-Off event in early January, each group will determine a set meeting time that works best for them. The application has a section for meeting time preferences and groups will be assembled accordingly.

Is there a fee to participate?
The yearly participation/application fee for Pace Setters is $65 and must be paid in full before your application is processed. In addition, participants 2010 PULSE dues must be paid by January 1, 2010. If you need an invoice sent to your company, please contact PULSE at

What does the $65 application fee cover?
The application fee covers the total cost of participation, including all monthly group meetings, attendance at the Kick-off event, a mid-year retreat at The Clemson University Outdoor Laboratory’s Team Ventures Experience, and the wrap-up event in late Fall.
